I was planning it for a long time. But I couldn't find the right nickname.
I didn't like my nicks for the whole 5 years. First was Sagitta(a constelation), then Sagittarius(also constelation), Would?(inspired by some great song [link] , but I didn't want it to associate with anything). Eee, than was.... I can't remember xD.... some unimportant nick that didn't last for more than two weeks. And than was El Erzulie [link] . Godess! But still not my own idea(except "el").
Then one day I was working a little on names for REA characters. I came up with name Kitana. I added to this "Ice Dog"(ice from Crystal, dog, not wolf, from [link] ) and then I thought that IceDogKitana will be perfect.... Yeah, right.
A couple of month later(meaning today :]) I was playing old Mortal Combat II. There was a character, a girl, in blue, with two fans, and, hey! This chick is called Kitana! xD Funny, nah. This is a sign! I know it!
So this is a short cut of how I finally decide what nickname I should use
